TMR favourite néomí has dropped a new folk-pop instant classic in the form of ‘redemption’. The Surinamese-Dutch singer-songwriter has crafted something that pays homage to her formative years and the family that raised her. Musically, her lyrics are reflected in warm, nostalgic textures and evocative melodic imagery. On the video, she says: “It made sense for the video to be influenced by memories I have with my family when I was growing up, specifically times we spent camping in France during the summer holidays.
